(66) Truth is, the game was rigged from the start...Creative Critical Reflection #4

--Dawn of the final day--
Welcome to my final EPIC blog guys! Wooo-wooo, no need to be sad. Just as Spring comes after Winter, you may take comfort in knowing the end of something is the beginning of another. Anyways today I'll be answering the final question for my creative critical reflection, so let's begin!

How did you integrate technologies - software, hardware and online - in this project?

I used technology almost completely to make this project possible, apart from layouts I designed in person. I used just about every tool in my arsenal to get this project done, from various software technologies to basic hardware. I wouldn't have been able to complete this project without the use of technology that allowed me to communicate my ideas, create my ideas, share them, and learn the crucial information necessary to complete this project.

I made constant use of software as this project was heavily involved in design. I used tools like Canva to put together designs and to handle some slight edits like color changes and filters, that's how I put together my magazine components and blog covers. I've also used a site called photoscissors.com that helped me in removing image backgrounds for design purposes.

As for hardware, I constantly used my phone and computer. My phone was used to take all the pictures used in my magazine, that would then be sent to my computer. Now my computer was used to access the software necessary for all my photo editing, magazine design, and blog creation. As such this magazine production wouldn't be possible without my computer, or at least it wouldn't have been easy.

I've also used a plethora of online programs for this project. Canva was used for practically all my magazine and blog cover designs. Blogger was used to compose and host my blogs so that my magazine and everything else I've done can be accessible for everyone. I've also made use of Prezi and Animaker to produce engaging presentations for answering these questions.

(50) The real deal, really?! Feature Story Interview

Hey guys welcome to another blog, so after the photoshoots I conducted an interview with Tyrone for our feature story, he gave my great answers to my questions. The questions I had for him were more specific as they were meant for him and I gave him some about men's fashion since he is a man and happens to also like fashion in some sense. So let's get into the responses- -Start- Q 1. Alright Tyrone what's good bro, so what do you know about men's fashion? A. I actually know a lot, I like to post my drip on social media, and if I'm being honest I wanna try to be a model some time in the future Q 2.  That's cool, so what do you do on a more day to day basis? A. Man I'm hustling out here, I sell clothes online, work at an airport, and I exercise just about every other day, bring them girls back home you know, haha Q 3. So Tyrone, how would you describe yourself as a person? A. You see a lot of ***** out here are blessed, but me man, nah, I had work harder tha...

(9) Let's talk...Mise-en-scene

Hey today we're gonna learn about...MISE-EN-SCENE!! But what is Mise-en-scene? Simply put Mise-en-scene is literally "placing on stage" in French; all the elements that appear on camera and their arrangement. So everything from the makeup that goes into a scene to how the scene is setup. Alrighty so let me get into each of the features for you to give you a better understanding of everything that Mise-en-scene encompasses. Production design: Production designers are the people responsible for the visual concepts of a film, such as television or theater production. They work closely with the director and producer while they design a style for the elements incorporated in a film. Location: The location of a film sets the mood and supports the action. For example, in a abandoned McDonalds the location would give you suspicion and a horror mood. Studio: A film studio is either a entertainment company or a motion picture company. These companies have their own privately studio...

(57) He will try- Double Page Spread Draft

Welcome, welcome, WELCOME!! Oh boy do I got a surprise for you! As promised I have made a draft for my double page spread, not one, not two, but three. There were just so many ideas in my head that I had to show you some of them, here check it out! This was the first version, I thought it was pretty good, but I felt there were some flaws or design choices that could've made it better, so I did a little redesign just to see if it would look better, now let's see if it did- This is the second version looks awesome to me, I felt it addressed some of the problems with the first, and the color might fit in better with our overall magazine, but let's try these fixes on the black and white version- Honestly I think I like this version a lot more, it's just so unique and makes for an awesome double page spread, some more refinements will need to be done, but we have a good idea for our final version now. Also you may have noticed the feature story in the double page spread is...
