(50) The real deal, really?! Feature Story Interview

Hey guys welcome to another blog, so after the photoshoots I conducted an interview with Tyrone for our feature story, he gave my great answers to my questions. The questions I had for him were more specific as they were meant for him and I gave him some about men's fashion since he is a man and happens to also like fashion in some sense. So let's get into the responses-

-Start-

Q 1. Alright Tyrone what's good bro, so what do you know about men's fashion?
A. I actually know a lot, I like to post my drip on social media, and if I'm being honest I wanna try to be a model some time in the future

Q 2.  That's cool, so what do you do on a more day to day basis?
A. Man I'm hustling out here, I sell clothes online, work at an airport, and I exercise just about every other day, bring them girls back home you know, haha

Q 3. So Tyrone, how would you describe yourself as a person?
A. You see a lot of ***** out here are blessed, but me man, nah, I had work harder than anyone I know, it's a struggle, so I'm definitely hard-working, and I'd like to say creative too

Q 4. Would you say you like men's fashion?
A. Like it? Man I love it, I told you I'm creative, so if there is one thing I love it's dressing nice and having the luxury of putting together a good fit

Q 5. Tyrone would you say your soft?
A. Shut the **** up, next question

Q 6. Do you ever feel sad when you don't get the attention you deserve?
A. Of course man, I work hard to get these fits done right, so it's a little disappointing when I post this drip on social media and it's not popping like them big b**ty girls, but I mean it is what it is bro, like you can't just stop grinding

Q 7. Has anyone ever insulted your dreams?
A. Bro just look at me, who gonna insult me haha

Q 8. Do you have any other interests besides Men's Fashion?
A. Yeah I do, it's called making money, when I grew up let's just say I wasn't so blessed so money has always been something on my mind- but I guess besides that I'd have to say music, I love mixing beats and listening to them

Q 9. What is your favorite kind of Men's Fashion?
A. Definitely formal, I mean if I can get a suit on I just feel so- powerful and respectable, it feels great and it's really just a boost to my confidence, and when that happens you already know it's going on social media

Q 10. What does it take to appreciate Men's Fashion?
A. An open mind and appreciation for a good-looking fit

Fun Fact: I choose Tyrone because he is my best friend's brother and gave great responses!

Q 11. Do you think women appreciate Men's Fashion?
A. Definitely, from all the nights out I've been I can say for sure the women come appreciating my suit all night long

Q 12. What do you think makes Men's Fashion what it is?
A. This is an interesting question, now what your gonna need is a manly man, like me- and your also gonna need some clean clothes and masculine accessories, I'd say like a chain, watch, or something like that, also a good haircut to complete the look!

Q 13. Tell me how did you get into Men's Fashion?
A. As I've said I didn't grow up in the best situation, so to simply just be able to dress nice and look good while doing it has always been a great feeling to me, and it's even better when other people can appreciate how I look as well. So, naturally I've been into Men's Fashion ever since I put on my first nice set of clothes.

Q 14. Do you think anyone can get into Men's Fashion?
A. Of course, unless you don't like wearing clothes, haha

Q 15. Do you think you could ever be a model?
A. Maybe, I'm not gonna say I'm the best looking guy out here, but man if I did become a model that would definitely be a dream come true- if I got the right pay of course

Q 16. Alright that was a great interview, any words you have for the audience?
A. Follow your goals and keep working hard- because Rome wasn't built on dreams, it was built on hard work

-End-

Well guys there you have it, that was my interview with Tyrone, I definitely changed some bits if you haven't noticed to make it more formal, but I got all his main ideas across from each of his answers, so I hope you enjoyed, this was a fun interview, we'll use this interview to formulate our feature story draft and then our final feature story. But first we will be designing a layout for our cover page, table of contents, and double page spread, that will be coming out soon. As always I hope you enjoyed!

(18) Editing, numero dos

Oh you're still here? Huh...hmm oh yeah, almost forgot... realmente tengo que trabajar otra vez... I mean WELCOME BACK GUYS!!! LETS GET STARTED ON ANOTHER BLOG, OH YEAH!!  Alright enough with that, lets get down to business, today I'm going to be covering the second half of the content I promised you on editing, so lets list these terms firstly. These terms are jump cut, crosscutting, parallel editing, cutaway, and insert, not as many as before, but still just as important, lets begin... Jump Cut: Jump cut is when two sequential shots of the same subject are taken from camera positions that vary only slightly if at all. This type of edit gives the effect of jumping forwards in time. It is a manipulation of temporal space using the duration of a single shot and fracturing the duration to move the audience ahead. This kind of cut abruptly communicates the passing of time. For example in the image above you see the kid looking forward, but then immediately in the next shot he ...
