(64) It's a long story...Creative Critical Reflection #2

--Dawn of the first day--
Hey guys welcome back to another blog, today we are going to be answering another question for my creative critical reflection.

How does your product engage with audiences and how would it be distributed as a real media text?

My magazine product targets men of course as it's a men's fashion magazine and it's made for men of all ages and backgrounds. I've made the magazine eye catching with flashy colors and intriguing cover lines. I've done this because it appeals to viewers easier and makes it easier to retain their attention while conveying my points across.

The color scheme is mostly red and blue and I chose this specifically since red is a more energetic color and it calls for more attention and blue makes a good contrast to that which helps add emphasis in that design context. Since this is a magazine for all ages I did make use of some informalities and jokes such as calling the magazine the "Drip Edition" and adding coverlines like "I would kill to look this good". This helps to engage with the audience in a more light-hearted approach.

The magazine encourages the audience to get into men's fashion and just interact with it regardless of their age or situation and this idea is conveyed from the use of imagery. And it does this in a fun way that shows how interesting men's fashion can be and that it's not boring.

This product could be distributed as a real media text through the use of physical copies as readers would eagerly pick up my eye catching magazine and I could also distribute online which would also work well as people would want to read my magazine for informative yet entertaining information on men's fashion. Physically we would distribute it through retailers, barbershops, gyms, malls, book stores, grocery stores, and pawn shops. Virtually we would distribute it through amazon, audiobooks, and a dedicated website for our publishing.

A. Man I'm hustling out here, I sell clothes online, work at an airport, and I exercise just about every other day, bring them girls back home you know, haha Q 3. (9) Let's talk...Mise-en-scene

Hey today we're gonna learn about...MISE-EN-SCENE!! But what is Mise-en-scene? Simply put Mise-en-scene is literally "placing on stage" in French; all the elements that appear on camera and their arrangement. So everything from the makeup that goes into a scene to how the scene is setup. Alrighty so let me get into each of the features for you to give you a better understanding of everything that Mise-en-scene encompasses. Production design: Production designers are the people responsible for the visual concepts of a film, such as television or theater production. They work closely with the director and producer while they design a style for the elements incorporated in a film. Location: The location of a film sets the mood and supports the action. For example, in a abandoned McDonalds the location would give you suspicion and a horror mood. Studio: A film studio is either a entertainment company or a motion picture company. These companies have their own privately studio...

(14) Preliminary Task: Table of Contents Explanation

Hey there, didn't notice you, just kidding! Lets discuss my table of contents page, here check it out next to my magazine cover,   If there is one thing they got, I can tell you it's that they are flashy!! Obviously the tech and computer field is one based on code and high tech equipment, unfortunately I don't have 10 million dollars for a quantum computer or some similarly impressive technology that I can take an original photo of. What I do have however is intermediate design skills. Here is my inspiration for the table of contents, There are many layouts, but I really enjoyed the simplicity and effectiveness of this layout. Everything in my table of contents is original, you can see the table of contents made with the simple use of text and basic fonts that use size hierarchy to make for a smooth and visually pleasing ux. The theme of this magazine is around computer science, technology, and coding, so there are some programming references here, such as html opening (...
